Susi Rigg is an accomplished Milliner with a career spanning more than four decades in film, television, theatre, opera, and ballet. While Susi has also worked extensively as a Costume Designer, Supervisor, Standby and Teacher, her primary focus and passion is millinery — creating headwear and accessories that bring productions to life on stage and screen.

Beginning her career at Perth College and training in Theatre Arts and Design, Susi went on to teach millinery and costume at WAAPA and TAFE before moving into large-scale stage musicals, feature films, and international television. Highlights include working on Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Hallmark miniseries Moby Dick and Noah’s Ark, and major Australian productions such as Ned Kelly, Cloudstreet, Red Dog, and The Furnace.

Susi continues to freelance as a milliner for WA Ballet, WA Opera, and Chrissie Parrott Arts, where her craftsmanship and artistry are trusted by directors and designers alike.
