OUR STORY

Built in WA. Built for production.

Local knowledge. Industry connections. Practical support.

Crew Connect WA is a Western Australian film, television and theatre service company connecting productions with the people, services and local knowledge they need.

Founded in 2025 with input from experienced industry professionals,

Crew Connect WA began with a clear objective: make it easier for productions to identify and connect with Western Australian capability.

Today, that network extends across crew, industry services, production support and a growing range of tailored solutions for productions working in Western Australia.

One local connection. A much bigger network.

Christine Thorpe | General Manager

Christine Thorpe brings more than 25 years of international business and project management experience to Crew Connect WA, with expertise in professional profiling, elite team building, leadership and communication. She understands that the creative industries are built on relationships, trust, reputation and ethical practice — and that successful productions depend not only on technical capability, but on having the right people working well together.

Our Impact

Building an industry that leaves something behind.

At Crew Connect WA, we believe a strong screen industry is about more than the productions we make. It’s about the people, skills and opportunities we build along the way.

We connect experience with emerging talent, create pathways between education and industry, support respectful and collaborative working cultures, and help productions contribute to the capability of the communities in which they work.

For productions coming into Western Australia, we want their impact to extend beyond the production itself - creating credits, experience, knowledge, relationships and opportunities that remain long after filming has finished.

Because a great production shouldn’t just leave with great footage. It should leave something behind.
